Hey Gem5-Users!

I am trying to run Spec2006 benchmark 483.xalancbmk in either ALPHA_FS or
ALPHA_SE mode, and in both cases the execution of the benchmark yields the
following gem5 panic and error:

**** REAL SIMULATION ****
info: Entering event queue @ 0. Starting simulation...
warn: Prefetch instrutions is Alpha do not do anything
warn: Prefetch instrutions is Alpha do not do anything
warn: Prefetch instrutions is Alpha do not do anything
warn: sqrtt/su f16,f0: non-standard trapping mode not supported
panic: Arithmetic traps are unimplemented!

It looks slightly different in ALPHA_SE mode:

**** REAL SIMULATION ****
info: Entering event queue @ 0. Starting simulation...
info: Increasing stack size by one page.
warn: Prefetch instrutions is Alpha do not do anything
warn: sqrtt/su f16,f0: non-standard trapping mode not supported

The command used to execute 483.xalancbmk in FS mode is
"./Xalan_base.i386-m32-gcc42-nn -v test.xml xalanc.xsl > test.out 2>
test.err" according to the http://gem5.org/SPEC_CPU2006_benchmarks page.

The page also claims that gem5 supports 483.xalancbmk, so I am not sure why
this is causing an unhandled trap?

Anyone have any advice/suggestions?

Alex
