Hi, I am trying to run one of the example benchmarks (Ping) on a dual system.
Using the gem-stable release I am able to take a checkpoint and restore from that; but the kernel on drivesys reports a null pointer dereference when I use the development release (9373:26ba525347fe). I wanted to transition to the dev release to take advantage of the introduction of SimpleDRAM. Any advice welcomed! Thanks and regards, My command: ./build/ARM/gem5.opt ./configs/example/fs.py -b Ping --machine-type=VExpress_EMM --kernel=vmlinux-3.3-arm-vexpress-emm-pcie --dual -r 1 console output : ==== m5 slave terminal: Terminal 0 ==== Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000 pgd = 80004000 [00000000] *pgd=00000000 Internal error: Oops: 80000005 [#1] SMP Modules linked in: CPU: 0 Not tainted (3.3.0-rc3gem5+ #25) PC is at 0x0 LR is at 0x8ccc pc : [<00000000>] lr : [<00008ccc>] psr: 60000010 sp : 7efffd28 ip : 00000000 fp : 00011400 r10: 0000000c r9 : 00000002 r8 : 00000000 r7 : 7efffeb4 r6 : 00008cac r5 : 0000003c r4 : 00011448 r3 : 00000000 r2 : 00000000 r1 : 00000000 r0 : 00000000 Flags: nZCv IRQs on FIQs on Mode USER_32 ISA ARM Segment user Control: 10c53c7d Table: 87ac406a DAC: 00000015 Process script (pid: 599, stack limit = 0x870242f0) ---[ end trace 52176840b34bc5bb ]---
