Anmol, I am also interested in creating new disk images for Full System simulation.
On the Wiki, there is a reference to a script mkblankimage.sh and a package called linux-dist.tgz described as "Everything you need to create your own disk image and compile everything in it from scratch": http://www.gem5.org/Download. However, it appears that the mkblankimage.sh script may have been replaced by util/gem5img.py, based on these conversations: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.m5.devel/11653. Perhaps we can look over the scripts and send updates on what we learn. -Patrick On Wed, Oct 29, 2014 at 12:26 PM, Anmol Mohanty via gem5-users < gem5-users@gem5.org> wrote: > Does anyone how to install manually an operating system(in my case Tizen) > on the gem5 simulator? > > -- > Best Regards, > Anmol Mohanty > > > _______________________________________________ > gem5-users mailing list > gem5-users@gem5.org > http://m5sim.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gem5-users >
