Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I was using the code in the newer repository (
https://gem5.googlesource.com/arm/linux), but for some wild reason I was in
the wrong version branch (4.4). According to the tutorial, SVE support
should come with kernel > 4.15.
I tried the one you sent in the link (4.18), and it just worked.
