Hello,

I am interested in the decoded instructions for the SimpleCPU for Alpha
in System Emulation. Therefore I used the tracing flag "Exec". However,
when I tried to combine trace-flags=Exec with the TimingSimpleCPU I
received a "Segmentation fault" (even for the hello benchmark).

Does anybody know what's going wrong?

This is the command I use:
build/ALPHA_SE/m5.debug --trace-flags=Exec configs/example/se.py --timing

The last lines of output I get are:

I reinstalled gcc so that I have the recommended version (A colleague
told me it's v4.2) to compile M5.
Information about my programs:
scons v1.2.0.d20090919
gcc v4.2.4
swig v1.3.40
M4 v1.4.5
Python v2.4.3
uname -a: Linux madmax 2.6.18-128.4.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 4 12:51:10 EDT
2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thanks,

Max
