Hello, I am interested in the decoded instructions for the SimpleCPU for Alpha in System Emulation. Therefore I used the tracing flag "Exec". However, when I tried to combine trace-flags=Exec with the TimingSimpleCPU I received a "Segmentation fault" (even for the hello benchmark).
Does anybody know what's going wrong? This is the command I use: build/ALPHA_SE/m5.debug --trace-flags=Exec configs/example/se.py --timing The last lines of output I get are: 31380000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_init_paths+72 : ldah r19,0(r29) : IntAlu : D=0x0000000120092a60 31410000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_init_paths+76 : lda r19,-27928(r19) : IntAlu : D=0x000000012008bd48 31440000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_init_paths+80 : ldq r27,-32496(r29) : MemRead : D=0x0000000120007f74 A=0x12008ab70 31500000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_init_paths+84 : jsr r26,(r27) : IntAlu : D=0x000000012001bd64 31530000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_important_hwcaps : ldah r29,9(r27) : IntAlu : D=0x0000000120097f74 31560000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_important_hwcaps+4 : lda r29,-21780(r29) : IntAlu : D=0x0000000120092a60 31590000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_important_hwcaps+8 : ldah r0,0(r29) : IntAlu : D=0x0000000120092a60 31620000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_important_hwcaps+12 : ldah r1,0(r29) : IntAlu : D=0x0000000120092a60 31650000: system.cpu T0 : @_dl_important_hwcaps+16 : lda r1,-28024(r1) : IntAlu : D=0x000000012008bce8 Segmentation fault I reinstalled gcc so that I have the recommended version (A colleague told me it's v4.2) to compile M5.
