I thought we had expanded that error message to say which object's port was unconnected... that would be helpful here. It could be the mem_side port of your cache that's complaining, since I don't see that you're connecting it up anywhere.
See the getPort() method in cache_impl.hh to see where the python port names get mapped to C++ Port objects for the cache.
