I use m5-stable-94c016415053 and try to do X86 full system simulation. Although the wiki says X86_FS is not supported, this version does have related files.
I have compiled X86_FS/m5.fast. But I can't find any vmlinux for X86. There is only ALPHA vmlinux. Then I tried to compile a 2.6.27 kernel following the instructions from wiki http://www.m5sim.org/wiki/index.php/Compiling_a_Linux_Kernel I got errors like this: kernel/built-in.o: In function `add_kallsyms': /home/taozhao/course/experiment/simics/linux-2.6/kernel/module.c:1777: undefined reference to `m5_addsymbol' kernel/built-in.o: In function `panic': /home/taozhao/course/experiment/simics/linux-2.6/kernel/panic.c:138: undefined reference to `m5_panic' gcc version 4.3.1, host machine: openSUSE11, kernel 2.6.25.16 Is there any version that works for X86? Thank you. _______________________________________________ m5-users mailing list [email protected] http://m5sim.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/m5-users
