Hi, I am new to m5sim. I wanted to do following things using m5sim: 1. Build various types(i.e. ARM, Sparc, X86) multicore system. 2. Run few multiprocessor database and web applications. 3. The system attributes such as L1 L2 cache, RAM, can be varied. Now when I followed asplos presentation from m5sim site. I faced following problems. 1. I was not able to create muticore systems: Whenever the simulator ran I found only CPU1. 2. I was not able to run other systems: That may be laziness on my part. I am looking if someone can help me with the necessary kernel binaries and disk images. 3. I wanted to install few applications on the system. I wanted to know how can I map the simulators NIC to my system NIC. and is it possible to install packages. 4. I tried looking for system attributes like L1 and L2 cache size and RAM, but wasn't able to locate where I can change their values. may be here to I am lazy.... I will appreciate any help in the problesm...
