Is anyone in the m5 community aware of any empirical studies of M5 accuracy, at various levels: e.g. branch prediction, cache misses, IPC, executed instructions etc; for any standard benchmark suites?
I've seen several posts over the years, but I'm wondering if anyone has spent time looking at m5 correlation against silicon or against other simulators (such as simple-scalar). Thanks
