You can use the new gem5img.py script in the util directory to make one yourself. It make it a little easier to create, mount and unmount images, so you should be able to make a new one of whatever size you need, mount the old and new ones, copy things over, and then unmount them. It's intended to be easy to use and figure out, so let me know if you run into anything that's really confusing.
