This seminal international holiday also coincides with Women’s History Month <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_History_Month> in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. To respond to the gender gap and create opportunities to grow content on women and non-binary people on Wikipedia, the Gender Organizing community in the Wikimedia Movement hosts an annual campaign every March called Celebrate Women <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Celebrate_Women>. This campaign is an important opportunity for the Wikimedia movement to engage with the work of different communities highlighting the gender gap in each Wikimedia project.
