alsalam alaikum wa rahamtullahi wa barkatuh. by installing automake-1.4, i was able to fix half the problem.. ie now i can compile libquran from source no problem... but i still have an error when i try to compile gnomequran, namely about vorbis being missing -- the first time around (ie ./configure --prefix=/usr/local), it says Vorbis... yes...) -- second time around (ie when i type make, it ./configures again for some reason) -- i get "vorbis program compiled but could not be run" -- looking at config.log i see...
