The icon looks like a KDE icon. This is not something bad, but the problem is very simple. The app is a gtk app!!! Well at least the standard gui. Unless you are making the icon for the qt gui. I formyself would prefer something platofrm neutral. Not gnome like not KDE like. Also the icons lacks detail at higher resolutions. Still it looks professional!
