Hi Brama, Can you confirm I understood your idea:
ideally, you'd like to revive Ambari at ASF, keeping Ambari name and everything else: you'd be forming a new PMC to revive the community around it (users, contributors, maintainers). If keeping the name is not ok, your plan would be to fork and rename at ASF. You already have a few people interested to join (yourself, Zhiguo Wu who started the thread in march, and probably others). Then you're prepared to submit a proposal to Incubator either to revive or fork Ambari. Is this summary ok?
