Absolutely. SSN's are only required to be given to your employer and state
agencies which use it to track benefits on your behalf.
My DL has 0's for the SSN.

This is what I got back from LSU. MPITA......
I understand, however the only way I can determine whether or not they are
affliated with the university is through their ssn's. There are too many
people with the same name to tell them apart. I cannot make them give me
ssn's. Without them I cannot guarantee monday deliverence of the permits.

identity theft and/or credit card fraud. Hence, the group is really
reluctant to release their ssn's. If there is any alternative to this,
please let me know. I was also told on the phone by Sandy Scallan that the
