Thanks John, I volunteered you to head this up. Very nice of me. Also, don't forget that we are electing a new Group Coordinator and Asst. Group Coordinator this Monday. Naturally, current officers are welcome to run. The four positions to be decided are: Group Coordinator - public relations, propose events, make executive decisions Asst. Group Coordinator - assist group coordinator Webmaster - maintain, upgrade website and website information Librarian - maintain library Parking Coordinator - make sure we have parking passes for whatever venue we use Links Coordinator - maintain links page on website I will run for webmaster and librarian (I'm doing the latter because I don't feel like hauling ten books somewhere.) I believe that John H. will run for Asst. Group Coordinator, but will be looking for an assistant-in-training since he will be a bit busy starting sometime next year. Keep in mind that these positions take only as much time as you want to put into them. This is both good and bad. I haven't put much effort into the Group Coordinator role this last year, so that is one of the primary reasons I feel it's time to pass the Scepter of Ultimate LUG Power to someone else. Hopefully, with fresh blood we can see BRLUG begin to make new forays into educating Baton Rouge about Linux and UNIX.
