Edmund,

At the moment, we are planning to gather somewhere (TBD) over dinner for the
January meeting. I do plan to bring it up for discussion then. If there is
sufficient interest, I think it would be a good discussion topic at a future
meeting, though we should discuss it some in a mailing list first. I find
that not all members like to participate in discussions at the public
meeting.

I believe that SparkHound might also be able to help you with Linux support:
http://www.sparkhound.com. And as a prime example of the issues this raises:
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT AM EMPLOYEE OF SPARKHOUND NOR AM I AFFLIATED WITH
SPARKHOUND IN ANY WAY. THIS DOES NOT COMPRISE AN ENDORSEMENT OF SPARKHOUND.

:)

There are no companies I know of in LA that officially claim to provide
Linux services. Anybody know some?

Hi John,

A few simple addition to the links page would be helpful without
compromising any non-commercial status - can anyone point to some local
URLs for Linux support (other than brlug.net)?

Perhaps this is more a topic for the BRLUG meeting in January?
Personally, I'd be delighted to get my internal business network away
from MS products but realistically, at this point, it's not feasible for
a business to switch lusers from MS overnight.
