Agree with Shannon: Gnome is really nice and looking forward to what comes next from Ximian. The Red Carpet software update app is cool and definitely an app category we will see more of. Haven't played with Ximian Evolution yet, though I know that is a nice app from hearsay from many.
BTW: I just updated the BRLUG CD Library with the 7 CD Ximian collection donated by Choppy Cusachs. It includes: Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 (Potato) for x86 Linux Mandrake 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 8.0 LinuxPPC 2000 Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 for x86 Solaris 7, 8 for UltraSPARC SuSE 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 for x86 Turbolinux 6.0 Yellow Dog Linux 1.2, 2.0 as well as the various Ximian apps, Star Office, and many others. So, it's a good way to check out various distros quickly. If you have any Linux/UNIX/*BSD related CDs of Free|Open Source software that you don't need anymore, please donate them to the BRLUG CD Library. I'm the interim CD librarian until somebody else wants to do it. There are a few distros already in the CD library, so don't grow old waiting to download the CDs, check em out of our library.
