Thanks for the tip.  I found the locking screw and was able to get the cage
out.  You know some stuff!!!

I'll bet the cage comes out. Look for screws hold the CD-ROM cage in place.
Dells are usually built to be worked on easily, once you see their way of
putting the cases together.
