-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 And you wonder why I don't listen to Celine Dion...Seriously, this topic was mentioned prior to the BRLUG meeting this past Monday. The discussion revolved around how the soundtrack to the upcoming movie, The Fast and the Furious 2, would not be able to be played in any player other than that specifically designed for audio CDs. That means that the Xbox, DVD, PS2, or whatever else that is currently capable of playing audio CDs will not be able to play the aforementioned CD. The technology that will afford the record company this ability has to do with a watermark. As far as the details are concerned, I am currently lacking. In any event, check out the link below to see what Sony has in store for you should you decide to try and play Celine Dion's latest CD via your computer.
