To my understanding grub is supposed to be a more robust boot manager, however I have not figured out how to modify any of the settings in grub. I have been extremely successful in modifying, adding, removing boot configurations to lilo however. It is much easier to use lilo with windows partitions in my opinion. 'Course that is probably because of my ignorance.....
