I have never seen that error. It shouldn't be your hardware. The
system requirements are:
Intel and compatible systems e.g. AMD.
i486 and higher CPU ( Pentium and higher recommended )
16MB RAM( 32MB and up recommended )
SuperVga 640x480 ( 800x600 recommended )
Hard Disk requirements:
  Minimal install - 500MB
  Full install - 3.0GB
  Recommended - 4.0GB
  IDE and SCSI supported.
CDROM drive
Mouse

I've never had an install fail with LibraNet. Any chance your image
is bad? I can run my CDs over and let you try them. Nothing like
tested good CDs to remove a posibility.

The boot disk issue is probably true of a number of distributions. I
remember having that problem with RedHat 7.0 now that I think about
it. It wasn't on my system. I was installing for a friend and had
to make the disks on a Windows 3.11 PC. It was a bit of a pain. I
hate to include floppies with our CDs. You can get a virus onto
floppies. I guess we could include a step-by-step set of
instructions, or a map to cccc.
