John,
I'll burn a copy of the Mandrake 8 discs for you as well as the
documentation disc for Redhat 8 since Larry wants a complete set. I'll also
bring some blanks to exchange for the Libranet discs.
As an update re: Mandrake 8, I have it installed on my Linux box at home as
well as my laptop and have successfully configured it with two video cards
and monitors. One video card is an AGP card and the other is a PCI card and
I am using one CRT monitor and one LCD monitor. I was able to get them
working as one contiguous desktop. It is really sweet. You can also
configure them independently of each other and have two desktops, which is
kinda cool as well. I haven't been able to get the Microsoft Wheel Mouse
working on my laptop here and I have tried all the mouse drivers listed in
HardDrake with no luck so far, but I was able to get it working with all
other distros that I have installed on the laptop. However, I have
successfully configured my wired and wireless LogiTech Optical Wheel Mouse
on the box at home. I have managed to get Mandrake logged into the network
here at work and figured out how to get network drives mounted
automatically, with a link on the KDE desktop I am considering purchasing
Crossover Office to be able to run Outlook, etc. here at work unless
recommendations indicate otherwise. My next project on the home box is to
install a second sound card and get it working.
I have also found a very active and knowledgeable Linux audio mailing list.
If anyone is interested in it, I will post the address to subscribe to it.

Ed,
Please burn a set for the BRLUG library. I have a copy of
Libranet 2.7, I'll burn you a copy.
