I am definetly going to give it a shot if I have not gotten it by next
meeting I will probably request to borrow your copies if that is OK. I
suspect I will be better off with 1.2 and 1.4 if you already have it. I
cannot use the latest XF86 because I cannot get the monitro to sync. I
have to use no better than 4.1 so what I normally do is install
slackware 8.1 without x, then xfree 4.1 from the 8.0 version, and
finally all the x applications from the 8.1 version. I am assuming I
will have the same problem with gentoo but who knows.
