Sounds good. Since these are computer science students you may also want to go over a few examples of each programming paradigm that is supported under Linux: Object Oriented - Java, C++, Python Logical - dunno! Is there a Prolog for Linux? Anything else? Imperative - C, Pascal, Perl Functional - LISP and related kin (Emacs!? Might be an interesting mention), SmallTalk, any others available on Linux? It would be nice to mix both informative and cool. Seems like you are already on your way to doing just that. Maybe a few cool screenshots would be faster than walking them through all of the software? Keep in mind you will be limited on time. Same for John B. and the desktop presentation. John, do you have a presentation ready? Regards, Dustin --- Dustin Puryear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Puryear Information Technology Windows, UNIX, and IT Consulting http://www.puryear-it.com
