I think I see that problem.....the issue is caused by the fact that you subscribe to AOL!! hahahahaa...just kidding! No, I'm not! Yes, I am!!!
But seriously, I think either your CD isn't actually bootable or your cdrom drive doesn't read CDR media of the type you have. I've run into each of these situations before. I'm not a guru like the rest of the guys in this mailing list but if you just make a regular boot floppy then there HAS to be a file on it....something like the fstab file....that will direct the process to the place to find the filesystem..probably defaults to something like /dev/hda and you can change that to something like /dev/hdb (provided your cdrom drive would be the second drive in your system. I know that only scratches the surface but maybe it will point you in the right direction.
