I am currently running Redhat 9 on my laptop. It's an HP Pavillions zt1185. RH9 installed just fine. 1.5 Ghz/ 512 RAM/ 10 gig partition for linux...grub boot loader whenever i boot from the first disc, it brings up the install options screen.... i have tried to install in both graphical and text modes. every time I do this, when it tries to stat installing it just automatically reboots the system and then brings me back to the options screen. As for the screen size issue, I don't think there's anything you can do. I've seen the same problem on a friend's Toshiba. Don't know what causes it.
