I am currently running Redhat 9 on my laptop. It's an HP Pavillions
zt1185.
RH9 installed just fine.

1.5 Ghz/ 512 RAM/ 10 gig partition for linux...grub boot loader

whenever i boot from the first disc, it brings up the install options
screen....
i have tried to install in both graphical and text modes. every time I
do this,
when it tries to stat installing it just automatically reboots the
system and then
brings me back to the options screen. I've had some wierd display
problems before
i.e. it forces everything into a box in the center of the screen when
im in console mode
but will stretch in any GUI. any suggestions on either issue?

thanks in advance!

blessings,
~Adam

As for the screen size issue, I don't think there's anything you can do.
I've seen the same problem on a friend's Toshiba. Don't know what causes it.
