I have noticed something since I upgraded to 1.07. Sometimes when I open a page with a java application Mozilla crashes and closes. Not all the time though. For instance, at lunch I sometimes work the crossword at 2theadvocate. Wednesday, it crashed. I reopened Firebird and tried it again, and it worked with nary a problem.
Yesterday it crashed and would not open that page without crashing for love nor money. Today, it opened it without complaint. Another paper uses the same puzzle and it hasn't given me a problem ever. Today I was looking at an interactive jave widget on the USGS site and it crashed again. I hadn't bookmarked the thing, so I'd have to find it to post the link and it wasn't that entertaining. Has anyone else noticed this? I saw it mentioned in bugzilla, but it doesn't look like it has been checked by the staff. A better question, has anyone noticed this and figured out why is an inconsistant error or how to keep it fromcrashing? Firebird version: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 I am running Windows XP, version 2002, service pack 2, and Office 2003 with service pack 2.
