I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist at a school here in BR and have been messing around on GNU/Linux for about a year and a half. With no formal or informal training in system administration, what would I need in order to get a job doing something with computers that makes around $30,000/yr?
There are some certifications that appear to be more accepted. Which ones do you feel are more important to potential employers? I guess I'm really not talking about programming languages other than perhaps writing some shell scripts. -- Adam J. Hogan ahogan2 at lsu.edu
