2. now that you make me look, I see something I overlooked last time. This is an Asus BTC-201 with subnumbers 942-0 and E220370. The nasty thing might work afterall. With a little tweaking, the TV Wonder is playing nice. It records TV at 640x480 and DVDs at 720x405, which is acceptable quality. Yeah, I know, I should figure out DeCSS.
