I as well downloaded the "beta" version of the ISO and run off of the CD.
I did not install it because wireless did not work. (Should've worked
fine with madwifi drivers, but no.....) I can see the my wireless
network and various different non-existent bogus networks, but could not
connect to mine at all.

Other than that, it run nicely on a sub par laptop.
