Circle is an android/apple/web app I use to purchase/sell bitcoin and sometimes store small quantities. Definitely worth a look and they have a nice referral program where both parties get $10 each if the new sign up sends $25 or more within the first two weeks. Mining bitcoin is a costly endeavour now a days unless you have access to cheap power.
