the movement process has started (in a small way) over in jakarta-commons. it'd probably be a good idea to let me know now if i need to cool the fires (rather than stoke them).

Given Greg's -1 on using CVS, subject to a full PMC vote (as I'm not clear if that is a veto or a vote), that'd pretty much be the hardest obstacle to remove. If the commons-maths group is comfortable with using Subversion, then I believe everything else can be sorted out fairly quickly (provided they do 'svn import'). If they require that they will need to stick with CVS, the Commons PMC will need to chat amongst ourselves and get back to you regarding that point.
