Just to add on to the below mail. What I'm saying here is, when we copy the content from MarkLogic to a string and then to an array list, we incur special characters. So what I would like to know is, does MarkLogic recognize the features and formatting like; bulleting, tabs/spacing, etc. in a Word or PDF file, since the original formatting is not retained when the Word/PDF file is converted XML/XHTML data with the help of CPF Module

When we open an XHTML file in CQ, thi content seems to clear but when you try to open the same content in a Web Editor(Cute Editor) we are getting some special characters. Can you tell me what might be the problem?
