My expectation here is that not only will <taxonomy> be in the namespace "http://greenwood.com/metadata/fragment"; but so will all the child elements.
For that to happen you'll need to use the mf prefix on them, such as <mf:booktitle>. Do that for all the elements you want in that namespace.
