Yes, your search string would just look like:

myconstraint:myvalue

where "myconstraint" is the name of your constraint and "myvalue" is the value
for that constraint. Something like:

search:search("myconstraint:myvalue", $options)

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Search API

Hi..!

I am using the search API to perform advanced search. I have a
situation where I will be having search constraints but no search
term, can this be handled by search api.
What should be the search term in this case.

Thanks
