I used http because it was easier (existing JMeter components already have good
support for http) and because that was the interface that the application was
using. I don't think it would be very difficult to create an XCC plugin for
JMeter. Maybe you could create one and share it with us? :)

Mark (and others),

Are you using JMeter against an http server because it was going to be
difficult to make an XCC plugin for JMeter? Did you try? If anyone else has
attempted this I would be interested to hear. My JMeter experience so far has
been really positive for web testing and it would be great to use the rich
graphing support for MarkLogic performance testing.

Thanks,
Scott

I have also used Apache JMeter to create tests against a MarkLogic http
application server, which also works quite well.

I have a heavy function in Marklogic module, and I want to do a load test.
During load test, I want to pass different parameters to this function, this
way I can see during short time how Marklogic can handle the large amount of
data. I also want to set how many concurrent user at the same time, and how
long the test should run.

This test can be inside marklogic or through xcc java connection.

Does anyone know any tool for this?

Thanks, Helen
