Hi All ,

Extending the scope of my last discussion. Can it be possible to transfer binary data over XCC to any xquery module. If so what would be supportive datatype?

Thanks in advance !

I don't think there is any way to pass a document (qua document) as an external variable to a module.  But you could pass a string that you parse in xquery using xdmp:unquote, thus creating an element that you could insert (or replace).

Hi All

I need to insert the file into Marklogic. I am bounded not to use the insert-content by xcc API library as it requires some other processing which is present in the xquery module. How do we transfer the file to Markloic. Please let me know the datatype of external variable in xquery module as well as in .Net application

Thanks & Regards
