Hi,

We're getting the validation errors below while trying to ingest some XML
docs into ML 5.We noticed these XML docs have some "<feff>" characters at
the start of the document. ML 4.2 seems to be ignoring them and allowing
the XML docs to ingest though.

This site (
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1972362/why-is-my-bash-script-adding-feff-to-the-beginning-of-files
)
says <feff> is a byte-order-mark.

So the question is, how do we make ML 5 ignore these byte order marks ?

Regards,
Danny
