Srinivas, A little more info about the PHP SDK: this project is a PHP wrapper around the MarkLogic REST API, but it is a community-driven project. If you or others are interesting in extending it, I'd be happy to review and accept pull requests to the GitHub project where it lives.
Filing a ticket about the features you'd like to see would also help identify where it falls short. https://github.com/marklogic/mlphp Dave. -- Dave Cassel Developer Community Manager MarkLogic Corporation<http://www.marklogic.com/> From: Srinivas <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Reply-To: MarkLogic Developer Discussion <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2:42 AM To: 'MarkLogic Developer Discussion' <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Cc: 'Sujay Rao' <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: Re: [MarkLogic Dev General] Issues in PHP SDK for MarkLogic 8 Hi Michael, Thank you for the quick response, that solves the problem I guess. I’ve been working on PHP, CakePHP(framework on PHP) since 2 years. Recently we came with a decision to work on MarkLogic DB instead the conventional MySQL DB that everyone uses. The reason behind this is we are getting huge amount of data every day. You can go through the project www.amlooking4.com<http://www.amlooking4.com> . I’ve downloaded the MarkLogic8 and also associated PHP SDK from the github repository and everything working fine like write, read, retrieve etc. But am facing problems in using qbe i.e Query By Example. I’ve explored the api files and got to know there is nothing related to qbe. And PHP / MLPHP is not mentioned in the list of connectors for MarkLogic8. Now, my questions are Ø whether MarkLogic8 supports PHP or not? Ø If Yes, Why didn’t they provided the mechanism for qbe? Ø When can I expect the release of MLPHP for MarkLogic8?
