Hi,

I'm not sure I completely understand your second paragraph.

Would it work to just iterate through a sequence of documents?

For example:

let $transformedSequenceOfDocuments :=
  for $eachDocument in $sequenceOfDocuments
    return
      xdmp:xslt-eval($myXSLT, $eachDocument)

return $transformedSequenceOfDocuments

If this isn't useful, could you share some code or data to help explain what
you're trying to accomplish?

Best,
Rob

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Xdmp:xslt-eval

Hi All,

I have an interesting question to ask. Currently I am using xdmp:xslt-eval
function in the application that I support, to transform an xml into the
desired format. This is achieved by passing the stylesheet and the node to be
transformed in xdmp:xslt-eval function.

To add to the complexity, now we need to do certain data look ups in other
xml’s as well. Is there an API which allows multiple nodes (xdmp:xslt-eval
allows only one node) to be passed as parameter for the transformation?

Thanks,
Durai.
