Hi, I face an issue while searching for some special characters like ÷, (c). I am able to search ∏, √(math chars pi and root). I am using ‘punctuation-insensitive’ option.
When I change to the below option, I am able to search all the special characters. <search:term-option>punctuation-sensitive</search:term-option> Everything is working if I use filtered and punctuation-sensitive But for “unfiltered” search, it not working for @, ÷ and I get all the results in the database, which is wrong. Could you explain why do we get results in the below fashion? Filtered, punctuation-sensitive (c) correct, taking long time √ correct Unfiltered, punctuation-sensitive (c) wrong, returning all results √ correct, taking less time Filtered, punctuation-insensitive (c) wrong no result, taking long time √ correct Unfiltered, punctuation-insensitive (c) wrong no result, taking long time √ correct What are all the special character searches supported in MarkLogic?
