Hello all, Last night, MarkLogic 8.0-4 was released on developer.marklogic.com. Don't let the version number fool you -- there are some very handy new features in 8.0-4. Some highlights:
* Server-side JavaScript: the new JSearch library; enhancements to the Alerting, Thesaurus, and Spelling APIs; a new built-in called cts.parse() (also available in XQuery) * Semantics: SPARQL negation; libraries for Sesame and Jena; enhancements to the Java Client API and REST API's Semantics capabilities; MLCP loading options * Management API enhancements * Improved Geospatial Search functionality * Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 * Improvements to the Node.js Client API and to MLCP Check out the Release Notes<http://docs.marklogic.com/guide/relnotes/chap3> for details and download 8.0-4<http://developer.marklogic.com/products> to try out the new features!
