Try https://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp:host-status (Xquery) or 
https://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp.hostStatus(JavaScript)

Or, if you’re running ML8, using the REST-based Management API: 
https://docs.marklogic.com/REST/GET/manage/v2/hosts@view=status
