Hi Jothi,

I’d recommend looking into http://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp:lock-acquire and
http://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp:lock-release. It will require some manual
checking for existing locks, but provides you with the means to keep track of
locks.

Kind regards,
Geert

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] concurrency - - Do not allow multiple users to
access a single record

Dear Friends,

I am new to mark logic. Please advise

Is it way to not allowingf multiple users to access a single record?

Example:

User (User 1) selects a customer record from the ABAWD report to modify.
· A Separate User (User 2) selects the same customer record from the
ABAWD report to modify.
· A Pop up will display for User 2 stating the following message:

Thanks
Jothi
