With latest qjide 2.0.0 (29.05.2013) on Mac OS X 10.8.3, starting in the qjide
directory . . .

(1) Executing Terminal command

    python qjide.py

correctly starts J and opens qjide in a Safari (default) browser window.

So does executing qjide.sh (only after I granted myself execute permission!).

HOWEVER. . .

(2) Double-clicking qjide.app seems to do nothing.

Information from inside qjide Terminal window:

    JVERSION
Engine: j701/2011-01-10/11:25 build: Feb 6 2011 16:16:29
Library: 8.01.011
Platform: Darwin 64
Installer: j801 beta install
InstallPath: /Volumes/MacHD/Applications/Programming/J/j64-801

Aside from font-size changes, in my qjide.cfg (copied from the template) I did
provide that InstallPath as the value of JInsFol.

What's especially mystifying is that in the previous qjide version 1.4.0 that I
had installed, double-clicking qjide.app did work OK (and, in fact, still does
-- I kept the old version in a separate folder from the new one). And so far as
I can tell, there's no difference in the contents of qjide.app for the two
versions, nor in qjide.command, which is what
qjide.app/Contents/MacOS/apprun calls; and no difference in qjide.command.
