Thanks, I can see your problem now. Actually it is not specific to iOS, 11!:0 had been decommitted since J701.
IIUC j/iOS is not JHS because it is not client/server, but it makes use of webview for output so that its UI resembles JHS. IMO it is good for learning J core language, running demos for plot and viewmat, and various labs. However its programming environment is primitive and not intended for development work.
