J64-803 jqt runs OK on my iMac running OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) J64-804 jcon likewise. I can use it to run: install'all' --which runs successfully to completion and installs a version of Qt that's different from the version already present in my j64-803/ folder. It also shows me:
JVERSION Engine: j803/2014-10-19-11:11:11 Library: 8.04.04 Platform: Darwin 64 Installer: J804 install InstallPath: /applications/j64-804 However, when I run j64-804 jqt, it successfully creates the folder: ~/j64-804-user/ plus 4 empty subfolders, then it crashes. (Mac)Console clearly shows the reason: Thu 07/May/15 09:05:03 [0x0-0x78078].jqt[1574] dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib Thu 07/May/15 09:05:03 [0x0-0x78078].jqt[1574] Referenced from: /Applications/j64-804/bin/./jqt Thu 07/May/15 09:05:03 [0x0-0x78078].jqt[1574] Reason: image not found ...which is self-explanatory. I'm well aware OS X 10.6 is no longer supported by Apple, but I need to keep running it since in later releases of OS X Apple has withdrawn support for many apps (the so-called Rosetta apps) which I rely on. It's a fair guess that the missing file: /usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib -is present in OS X 10.10 (Yosemite -- the latest OS X release), but I've checked using (Mac)Terminal and there's no such file in my /usr/lib/ folder. Nor anything like it, e.g. missing the ".1". If anybody running a Mac has /usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib could they email a copy to me please? It might just work. Otherwise we may have to conclude that OS X 10.6 does not support j64-804 jqt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
