All--
I am using J701 JHS under OS X.6, and interested in constructing some simple
graphical diagrams. I used isigraph with older releases, then converted to
some extent to Google Chart, which required some unwelcome contortions. It
seems that OGL may suit me better, but I am having trouble getting started.

Firstly, the Wiki page Modern_OpenGL suggests:
        • For demos, run Menu > Help > Studio > demos > shader
My JHS screen does not offer such a menu structure. Going directly to Studio >
demos, I find no shader option.

Secondly, running jdemos 1-6 from my installed addons produces Google Chart
code, not OGL actions. Where might I find updated demo scripts?

Thirdly, hoping to find OGL calls in newer addon releases, I browsed to
JAL/j804, but found no OGL-specific names in the demos or graphics sections.

(Fourthly, I had expected the JAL pages to be leading to the source for those
scripts, not just their descriptions, which are mostly lacking anyway. It
would be helpful to add a header note pointing to source pages.)

Fifthly, the section of Modern_OpenGL, noting that:
addon api/gles provides OpenGL/OpenGL ES function prototypes and constants,
might best be placed at the head of the page, with an indication that this
should be all that you need, after finding a few illustrations and a reference
manual.

Thanks.
