When Adam named the Animals, he had a totally clean slate.
He was the last person to enjoy that privilege.
Those of us who come later have to feel our way round the nomenclature
that's there already.

But if we're all in the mood for a terminological spring clean, let's do it
properly and start at the beginning…

I never understood why I have to call all my variables "nouns". And when
people say "nouns" meaning "pronouns", surely it proves the point.
